A court-appointed psychologist declared in court Tuesday that Christie Brinkley should get custody of her two youngest children.
Dr. Stephen Herman testified that her ex Peter Cook is a narcissist who needs constant reassurance that he is "a terrific guy, handsome, accomplished," according to the New York Post.
His unrealistic expectations could "cause great harm to the children," Herman said.
Herman added that shared custody "is not at all a viable option," the Associated Press reports.

Herman — who spent 11 hours with Brinkley, 54, Cook, 49, and their children, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10 — blamed Cook's fling with a teenage assistant for the end of his marriage to Brinkley.
"Making that choice [to have an affair] was the beginning of the end of the marriage," he said.
Although most men view porn, Herman said Cook's $3,000-a-month Internet habit and Web cam obsession went "outside the Bell Curve."
(Herman also revealed that Cook had 35 different sexual partners in his lifetime but that number didn't affect his parenting ability.)
On Monday, Brinkley broke down in court, saying Cook's affair was a "nightmare" and that she hasn't dated since.
"I've just been completely focused getting the kids over this painful event," she testified.
Cook's lawyers are expected to accuse Brinkley of having "anger" issues in an attempt to win custody of the kids.
Cook has dismissed Brinkley's court breakdown, saying the movie "Shrek was more believable
