Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos have just cinched a deal with TLC to co-produce and star in an unscripted reality television show. In fact, it may not be limited to just an inside view of their home life. The hype is that they have been hired to develop multiple projects.

Their production company is called Milojo Productions. TLC President Angela Shapiro-Mathes happens to be an old acquaintance of the couple when all three were at ABC. Ripa and Consuelos met on the set of All My Children, the popular day time soap. Shapiro-Mathes was their boss and apparently she knows star power when she see it and a deal was struck.

Ripa and Consuelos have three children: Michael, 10, Lola, nearly 7 and Joaquin, 5. The actress has recently signed a lucrative deal with Electrolux and has been featured in a national ad campaign. As co-host of morning talk show Live with Regis and Kelly, Ripa frequently shares photos and stories about her kids. Exposing them to reality television is a leap that she may ultimately regret. Time will tell.
