If you're a celebrity endorser of a product, ya better follow through! Charlize Theron is being sued for failing to to abide by the rules of her contract with a Swiss watch company.
Raymond Weil has filed a suit of $20 million, claiming Charlize went against the contract by wearing a Dior watch. The contract states that she must wear Weil watches only from 2005 TO 2006, which she violated.
Back in February, Charlize fought the suit, but a judge just ruled that it must go to trail. Imagine being sued for that much for such a petty little thing? She'll be tried in a New York court in October.
Charlize isn't the first celeb this has happened to. Jessica Simpson was sued by True Religion Jeans for a similar offense, as well as Melanie Griffith. Sounds like these designer lines are hurting for cash!

But how much was Ms Theron *paid* for her exclusivity contract? I imagine it was not a petty amount of income!
Celebrities who reap the financial benefits of easy money product endorsements should expect to be inconvenienced for a spell -- that IS what they are being paid for, after all.
